This little object will spit out a number &amp; will determine the rest of the greater female populations mood for the day\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a love hate relationship &amp; if the number sucked \u2013 well, she will hate the scale, the diet doesn\u2019t work, she feels depressed, &amp; the list goes on &amp; on\u2026<\/p>\n<p>However the next day \u2013 the love hate relationship continues, because maybe, just maybe the scale will spit out a positive number\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><u>ENOUGH right?<\/u><\/p>\n<p>That was me, the thing is a scale (weight) is a <i>terrible<\/i> indicator of what goes on in your body. It doesn\u2019t tell You how much of the weight is <strong>muscle<\/strong> or <strong>fat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For starters: fat &amp; muscle are two totally different creatures.<\/p>\n<p>Have a look at the difference in the image below:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/myuberdiet.com\/plan\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fat-muscle.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7193\" src=\"http:\/\/myuberdiet.com\/plan\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fat-muscle-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"fat-muscle\" width=\"240\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/myuberdiet.com\/plan\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fat-muscle-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/myuberdiet.com\/plan\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/fat-muscle.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5 lbs of fat and 5 lbs of muscle weigh exactly the same, but they take up very different amounts of space in your body. 5 lbs of muscle is denser than fat &amp; takes up less space than 5 lbs of fat. Fat &#8211; we want to get rid of so desperately, takes up much more space.<\/p>\n<p><em>Now if we think about it<\/em> \u2013 if You start a new diet, with exercise you will start building lean muscle, this will add extra weight &#8211; the scale will move up \u2013 give a higher reading-. We also burn fat with exercises &amp; a new meal plan \u2013 however the scale will move downward slower.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially the number on the scale will go up \u2013 BUT your clothes will fit the same!<\/p>\n<p><u>Before I forget &#8211; Most people do not know this:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>If you have ANY kind of inflammation in your body, heck, even a tooth infection, you will NOT LOSE WEIGHT. However the fat cell replaces the lost fat with water to retain its size.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I know this totally sucks \u2013 BIG time\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>This is why most people get despondent, because as a result of this treacherous behavior by your fat cells, people still:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Weigh the same<br \/>\n\u2022 Look the same<br \/>\n\u2022 Feel the same<\/p>\n<p>But in the meantime they have actually really lost some serious fat!<\/p>\n<p>Mark my words, the water replacement is only <strong>temporary<\/strong>. This is a defence mechanism your body has, so it won\u2019t change too rapidly. It allows the fat cell to slowly &amp; gradually reduce its cell size.<\/p>\n<p>So, simply ignore your scale for a while \u2013 be patient. <strong>Your body is changing even if the scale is driving you mad.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best indicator of weight loss is your clothes. You will see, suddenly your favourite jeans will start slipping off.<\/p>\n<p>What You should do is measure yourself &amp; write down the numbers.
