Is the Keto Diet Expensive?

Time and time again people will complain that the keto diet is expensive. Could it be that competitors are spreading false rumours or are their claims valid?

Let’s find out…

First off – You do not, and I repeat…You do not need any exogenous ketones, shakes, keto protein powders, MCT oils, high tech gadgets to measure ketones etc. Nope you don’t need them. Let’s be honest after this whole pandemic, times might be tough and forking out money for non-essential keto goods is an unnecessary expense.

The keto diet has been working for people science 1920, long before any of these so called “keto essentials” even existed.

The trick and secret with keto is real simple, let your body make its own ketones and you do that by keeping your carbs very low and yeah that is the secret to keto. So, when your insulin and blood sugar is low you will enter nutritional ketosis. Easy peasy!

Let’s be honest if we eat real food it is less expensive than refined food. Also you already buy meat, poultry, butter, seafood, vegetables, eggs etc so avoiding the more expensive food like bread, pasta, rice, beans, cereal, pastries, sweets, and other sugary, starchy foods you will save money.

…before I forget, you won’t be eating as frequently because the higher fat content makes you feel satiated and fuller for longer. Its quality over quantity. ..and nobody likes hunger pains…am I right?

So there you go the claim that keto is expensive is just plain false.
